Trilogy "Aija", 1911, 1914 and 1925, and Childhood Memoirs "The White Book", 1914–1921, by Writer Jānis Jaunsudrabiņš (1877–1962)

Jānis Jaunsudrabiņš was a writer with a distinct sense of the visual. His style would shift throughout his career, with early forays into romantic, impressionistic prose later giving way to existentialist examinations (in the realist mode) characteristic of 20th-century literature. His main theme was love, erotic or in the form of love of nature and the countryside.
